Stitch pattern used:
Sequence of construction:

- Attach sleeves
- Work necline ribbing
Row 1: 1 hdc 2nd ch from hook, 1 hdc in each ch across (14 hdc) ch 1 turn
Row 2 – 88: 1 flhdc in each st (14 hdc), ch1 turn
The band measures 36 inch unstretched
For smaller size make less row, for bigger size make more rows
Turn work 90 degrees, join the last row to the beg foundation row (joining can be done by sewing the 2 ends or sl.st or sc last stitches of last row to stitches of the foundation ch
Working around band just made
Round 1: ch 1, 1 sc in same st, Ch 3, sk 1 hdc, 1 sc in next st, ch 13, sk 3 hdc, 1sc in next st.
continue alternating between loop of 13 ch and loop of 3 ch with 1 sc in between the loops until you have 22 loops of 13 ch and 22 loops of 3 ch, ending with a ch 13, slst to beg. sc.
Hint: The exact location of the loops is not that important as long as there are evenly distributed around the band
Make less loops for a smaller size and more loops for a bigger size. Making sure there is an equal number of 13 ch and 3 ch loops. And it should be an even number of loops.
Round 2: slst in 1st ch of 3 ch loop, 1sc in same loop, *in next ch 13 loop (1 dc in each of 6 ch, ch 3, 1 sc in next ch, ch 3, 1 dc in next 6 ch), 1 sc in next ch 3 loop, repeat from * around, after working the last ch 13 loops, sl.st to beg sc
Round 3: slst in next 6 dc, slst in 1st ch of ch 3, 1 sc in that same ch 3 sp, ch 3, 1 sc in next ch 3 sp, ch 13, *sk to next ch 3 space, 1 sc in that space, ch 3, 1 sc in next ch3 space, ch 13, repeat from * around, sl.st to beg sc

use another ball of yarn for the sleeves
work 19 rows as bottom ribbing
Row 1- ch 1, 1 sc in same st, *ch 3, sk 1 hdc, 1 sc in next, ch 13, sk 1 hdc, 1 sc in next, repeat * around (6 ch 13 loops and 6 ch 3 loops, end with sl st to 1 st sc
Row 2-3 as Row 2-3 of body pattern
repeat row 2-3 eight time as body pattern
Repeat Row 2 once more to the last 13 ch loop
Attaching sleeve to body
Put a marker on each corner grid of the body (making sure you have the same number of grids in the front and back)
In last 13 ch loop of sleeve make 1 dc in each 6 ch, sl st to corresponding dc ( before ch 3 loop) of body, sl st to next ch of ch 3 loop of body, ch 1, 1 sc in next ch of sleeve, ch 1, sl,st to 3rd ch of next ch 3 loop of body, sl st to next dc of body, 1 dc in next 6 ch of sleeve, sl st to 1 st sc of sleeve. Fasten off
From where you left off on body
Start working as row 3 to last (ch 3, 1 sc, ch 3) before sleeve-body join , 1 sc in ch 3 sp, ch 1, 1 sc in next ch 3 sp, sk sleeve body join, on sleeve work 1 sc in ch 3 sp, ch 1, 1 sc in next ch 3 sp, continue working on sleeve as row 3 of pattern, join back to body as previous, continue working the body as row 3, join next sleeve as first sleeve, continue working on body as row 3
work 2 more rows (as row 2-3 of body pattern)
